If the examination took place at your regular medical institution and you explained the situation, they might use your health insurance to cover you. If this is not possible, please pay the full amount of the incurred medical expenses yourself, and then, on a later date, fill out the designated items on the “Application Form for Medical Care Expenses,” attach the medical cost details (original)* and receipt (original) issued by the medical institution, and submit them to the Health Insurance Society.
The Health Insurance Society will examine this documentation based on the relevant standards and then pay the appropriate amount.
* Medical cost details are not ordinarily issued and must instead be obtained by separately requesting them from the medical institution. Note that you are responsible for paying the costs of creating this document, if any.
